The new facility has the capacity to manufacture around 8,000 motorcycles annually
TVS-Owned Norton Motorcycles opened a new global headquarters in Solar Park, Solihull, West Midlands, UK. The newly built facility, supported by West Midlands Growth Partnership and the UK Government, houses a manufacturing station, a global design and R&D hub, a showroom, a service workshop, and customer reception and office.
Norton says that the facility will be able to manufacture around 8,000 motorcycles per year , and that every single component of all upcoming Norton Motorcycles will be evaluated in a new quality-testing laboratory, which consists of inspection rooms, testing areas including destruction testing, and a rolling road.

Norton Motorcycles has used sustainable and highly reconfigurable build techniques for its new facility, which should help the bike maker expand and streamline its manufacturing processes.
TVS Motor Company had acquired the British motorcycle brand in an all-cash deal of GBP16 million (Rs 153 crore) in April 2020. In related news, Norton has also just unveiled the V4SV superbike, however, the chances of it arriving in India are pretty bleak.
