Vardenchi to bring Italian Moto Morini Bikes in India

The Indian custom bike maker, Vardenchi has allied with the popular Italian motorcycle manufacturer Moto Morini. The bikes will be imported through the CBU route and will come to India by early 2014. Prices of the bikes will be announced around February 2014, however the expected price of the bikes for India is Rs. 14 lakh.
After its comeback in 2012, Moto Morini is selling three bikes currently, which are Corsaro 1200 Veloce, Grandpasso 1200 and Scrambler 1200. All the three bikes use a 1187cc FMV12 engine with Magneti Marelli electronic injection, which is a liquid-cooled, four valve per cylinder, 87° longitudinal V-twin mill. The engine comes mated with a six speed gear box using Multi-disc wet slipper clutch (APTC). The Grandpasso and Scrambler churns out almost same amount of maximum power, which is 118bhp and 117bhp respectively. Values of the peak torque delivered by the bikes are also not much differs, as it goes to 105Nm and 103.6Nm respectively. The Corsaro Valoce is capable to deliver a maximum power of 140bhp and a peak torque of 122Nm. All the bikes match EURO 3 norms using Double muffler, 3-way catalyst and lambda probe.
The bikes have been assembled on a High tensile tubular steel trellis frame. Corsaro Valoce uses 50mm Marzocchi upside down multi-adjustable forks at the front and Progressive, with multi-adjustable Sachs mono-shock-absorber at the rear. Grandpasso and Scrambler comes with same Marzocchi upside down forks at the front. Ohlins mono-shock-absorber on the side is working at the rear of Grandpasso while Scrambler comes equipped with a mono-shock-absorber Paioli on the side at the rear.
To stop these powerful bikes, high performance braking systems has been used. Corsaro Veloce used 320mm dual Brembo disc brakes at the front and a single 220mm Brembo disc brake at the rear, while Grandpasso and Scrambler uses same 298mm dual Brembo disk brakes at the front and single 255mm Brembo disc brakes at the rear. All the cables and wires in the bike have been tied with Moto Morini logo clip. All the bikes come with a voltage regulator system to ensure reliability and durability of the system even at lower temperatures.
