It apes the Harley-Davidson CVO range bikes aesthetically, but packs a 250cc engine
The popularity of bagger motorcycles might be just limited to the United States of america, but that hasn’t stopped Chinese manufacturer Jedi from building one for its domestic market. However, unlike the Harley-Davidson’s CVO range, the Jedi Custom 250 Gypsy is meant for everyday Joes.
One look at the Jedi Custom 250 and you might mistake it for a big-bore bagger. Everything, from the front fairing to the panniers with the integrated indicators, and the candy orange paint job reflects the American influence on this Chinese bike. Sadly, the influence ends there.
The Custom 250 Gypsy doesn’t flaunt a big-bore v-twin powerhouse like the Harley. Instead, it gets a humble 250cc 2-valve single-cylinder engine. While the performance numbers haven’t been revealed, Jedi claims that the cruiser can achieve a top speed of 105kmph.

This Chinese cruiser gets a telescopic fork and twin shock suspension setup. For braking, Jedi has deployed disc brakes at both ends backed by dual-channel ABS.
The feature list on the Jedi Custom 250 Gypsy doesn’t run long, and it has an USB charger to boast of. However, the front fairing houses two covers meant for speakers, so, if you want to plonk one on your Gypsy, you can do that seamlessly. Interestingly, Jedi also makes this cruiser for the local law enforcement agencies.
The pricing of the Custom 250 Gypsy is not available, however, considering the specs and features on offer, it is unlikely to be a pricey proposition. And while Jedi is not heading to India, Adishwar Auto Ride will be soon bringing in Moto Morini and Zontes to our shores.
