Yamaha Motor India has launched the Fascino 125 S version scooter at Rs 93,730 (ex-showroom Delhi). It features a new ‘Answer Back’ feature that helps you find it in crowded parking lots, by blinking its indicators and sounding the horn for about 2 seconds.
The Yamaha Fascino 125 S version comes in three colour options: the Matte Red and Matte Black colours cost Rs 93,730, and the range-topping Dark Matte Blue is priced at Rs 94,530 (ex-showroom Delhi). The rest of the features and underpinnings remain the same as standard Fascino. The scooter gets the same 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine as before. It delivers 8.2PS at 6500rpm and 10.3Nm at 5000rpm, paired with a CVT (continuously variable transmission).

The Suzuki Access 125, currently the best-selling 125cc scooter in India, comes with a classic scooter design and modern features. The scooter provides one of the best mileage in the 125cc scooter segment. It comes in six colour options including Pearl Shining Beige, Solid Ice Green, Metallic Royal Bronze, Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Matte Black and Matte Blue, all priced the same at Rs 90,500 (ex-showroom)
The Suzuki Access 125 comes with an LED headlight, placed on the handlebar cowl, and apron-mounted DRLs (daytime running lights). The indicators and tail light are conventional bulbs. It gets a full LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The console also shows readings like speedo, odo, trip meter, fuel levels, clock and basic telltale lights. Thanks to the Suzuki Ride Connect app, it gets call/SMS and WhatsApp alerts, overspeeding alerts, trip sharing and last parked location. It also comes with an external fuel filler cap.
It gets an underbone frame, telescopic fork and monoshock. Braking is managed by a front disc brake and rear drum brakes, with CBS (Combined Braking System) as standard. Its 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels are fitted with 90-section tyres. The Access 125 has a 103kg kerb weight, 773mm seat height and 160mm ground clearance.
2. Honda Activa 125 H-Smart: Rs 88,979 (ex-showroom)

The Honda Activa 125 is a bigger and more powerful sibling of the Activa 6G and comes with a premium look. While the Activa 125 combines practicality with power, the H-smart variant brings in more advanced features with a key fob.
The Activa 125 H-smart comes with a key fob with keyless operation, and also has an anti-theft system. The scooter is equipped with an LED headlight with DRLs, and gets bulb-type indicators and tail light. The 125cc scooter has a semi-digital instrument console that incorporates a speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, clock, mileage, range indicator and basic telltale lights. The scooter also has a multi-function dial that opens the boot and the external fuel filler cap. Other features include a silent starter, an idle start/stop system and a small storage compartment on the front apron.
The Activa 125 H-smart gets a telescopic fork and a three-step preload-adjustable monoshock. The H-Smart variant is equipped with a 190mm front disc brake and a 130mm drum brake at the rear. It rolls on a 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheel, fitted with 90-section tubeless tyres at both ends.
With a kerb weight of 109kg, it has a 162mm ground clearance. The Honda Activa 125 has a 5.3-litre fuel tank capacity.
3. Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid Disc: Rs 91,430 - Rs 92,930 (ex-showroom)

The RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid is the Fascino’s sporty sibling. It comes with a unique and rugged design that attracts attention on the road. It comes in Cyan Blue, Matte Red, and Metallic Black colours that cost Rs 91,430. The Racing Blue and Dark Matte Blue colours are priced at Rs 92,430 and the top variant Yamaha Monster Energy MotoGP Edition is available at Rs 92,930 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid disc variant comes with an all-LED lighting setup with a Y-shaped LED daytime running light (DRL) on the handlebar cowl. It features an LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, providing call, SMS and email alerts. The display shows basic information including a speedometer, odometer, trip meter, and fuel gauge among others.
Moreover, the Y-connect app provides bike maintenance notifications and malfunction warnings. However, the scooter misses out on turn-by-turn navigation. The scooter has a 21-litre underseat storage space.
The RayZR sits on the same chassis as the Fascino, which weighs just 99kg. It gets a telescopic fork and a monoshock. Braking is handled by a 190mm front disc and a 130mm rear drum brake. It is fitted with 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels, with 90-section front and 110-section rear tubeless tyres. The Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid gets a 145mm ground clearance and has a seat height of 785mm. The scooter comes with a 5.2-litre fuel tank but misses out on an external fuel filler cap.
4. TVS Ntorq 125 Race XP: Rs 96,741 (ex-showroom)

The TVS Ntorq Race XP is the most powerful 125cc scooter in India, accelerating from 0 to 60kmph in just 8.3 seconds. The Race XP variant of the sporty scooter is available in a single Race Red Black colour that costs Rs 96,741 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Ntorq Race XP has LED headlights and tail lights with bulb indicators. It has an LCD instrument console with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Along with the basic speedo, odo, trip meter, fuel gauge readings, the scooter displays call and SMS alerts, a lap timer, engine temperature, phone battery and signal strength indicators, and last-parked location assistance. It even has a voice assist feature and exclusive rider's app assistance. The Ntorq Race XP has a kill switch and a pass light switch. Other features include a 20-litre underseat storage with a boot light, a USB charging port, and an external fuel cap.
The Ntorq features a telescopic fork and rear monoshock suspension. It gets a 220mm petal disc at the front and a 130mm drum brake at the rear, with CBS as standard. The scooter rides on 12-inch alloy wheels, wrapped with 100-section front and 110-section rear tyres. It has a ground clearance of 155mm and a kerb weight of 111kg.
5. Bajaj Chetak 2901 Electric Scooter: Rs 95,998 (ex-showroom with EMPS 2024)

Talking about other options, the recently launched Bajaj Chetak 2901 can be a good electric alternative. It was launched at Rs 95,998 (ex-showroom including EMPS 2024, which stands for Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024). It comes in two variants, Urbane and Premium, and is available in five colour options: Azure Blue, Ebony Black(MET), Racing Red Lime Yellow and Cyber White.
The Chetak 2901 gets an all-LED lighting setup. It is equipped with a colour-LCD instrument console that shows a speedometer, odometer, trip meter, battery level and range indicator. It also gets an Economy riding mode for better range. Additionally, you have the option to get the TecPac for an extra Rs 3,000, which includes Bluetooth connectivity call and music control, hill hold assist, reverse mode, Sports mode and a follow-me-home light.
The Chetak 2901 is equipped with a single-sided link-type front suspension and a monoshock. Braking duties are handled by drum brakes at both ends. It is fitted with 12-inch alloy wheels, fitted with 90-section tyres on both ends.
