Yamaha Motor India has showcased its 250cc dual-sport bike, the Lander 250, at Auto Expo 2025. It is a capable dual-sport bike and is currently being sold by Yamaha in the Brazilian market.
Here’s what it gets:
The Yamaha Lander 250 sports a dirt bike-inspired design with an aggressive look, and even features a beak-like front fender which is placed just below the LED headlight. It also gets an upswept exhaust.
The Yamaha Lander 250 is powered by the same 249cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the now-discontinued Yamaha FZ-25. It produces a peak output of 20.5PS and 20.1Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The Lander 250 comes with an all-LED lighting setup and has a negatively-lit LCD instrument console. It also gets smartphone connectivity via the Yamaha Y-Connect App, offering call and SMS alerts.
Underpinnings of the Yamaha Lander 250 include a telescopic fork with a 220mm of wheel travel and a monoshock with 204mm of wheel travel. For braking, the Lander 250 uses a 245mm front disc and a 203mm rear disc brake. It is fitted with a 21-inch front and an 18-inch rear spoke wheel, wrapped with 80-section front and 120-section rear dual-sport tube tyres.
