Yamaha one make series commences on a brilliant note

The final round of the Yamaha one make racing series concluded on a brilliant note over the weekend at the MMRT (Madras Motorsports Race Track) amidst a huge crowd that was present to cheer the racers. The popular one make series had a total of 40 participants of which 20 qualified in the novice category while 17 qualified in the open category; racers were judged on the basis of the fastest lap times. The one make racing series is one of Yamaha’s biggest initiatives to promote racing and motorcycling in India, and so far it has received an astounding response from racers all over the country awaiting an opportunity to test their skills on the race track.
The one make racing series uses the Yamaha R 15 with special Daytona Racing kits for enhanced performance. These kits are developed using Yamaha’s experience in MotoGP and are specially designed for use in closed circuit racing.
