Honda CBR 650F is a motorcycle that was meant to be a game changer for avid motorcycle enthusiasts. First showcased in Auto Expo 2014, this was eagerly awaited by most of the bikers of the country, expecting Honda to offer this bike within their budget. But the officially declared price shattered the dream of aficionados who expected the bike to be in their budgets. Even the company faced some criticism while pricing the bike, but after taking it for a ride, one can definitely say that Honda CBR 650F is one of the few motorcycles that needs to be looked beyond its price tag. It is fun to ride while being practical at the same time - this is what Honda does like no one else. The inline-four engine is specially tuned for low-to-mid range torque and delivers a power that is suited for wide range of riding style. No matter whether you use it as a weekday commuter or for a weekend sports riding or long trips or short hauls, the Honda CBR650F does it all.
Honda CBR650F is equipped with 649cc, liquid cooled, four stroke, 16 valve DOHC, in-line four-cylinder engine that is mated to a 6-speed constant transmission system and uses a wet multiplate clutch system. The bike generates the power output of 85.8bhp along with peak torque of 63Nm. The powertrain is assisted with Honda’s Programmed Fuel Injection System (PGM-Fi), which promises crisp throttle response with an interrupted power delivery.

1. Sleek and Aggressive Appearance:
Honda CBR650F features ‘Mass Forward’ sleek and aggressive appearance. It has dynamically curved fuel tank and a chiseled fairing that adds strong identity and shrink wrapped tail unit, which look stubby. The tank of the bike is hinged at the back that allows easy access to cylinder head when required. Both tail light and front lights are LED.
2. Excellent Handling:
Honda CBR650F has a steel made Diamond frame that uses twin 64mm x 30mm elliptical spars. The rigidity and the balancing of the bike are specifically tuned making it stiffer around the headstock and more flexible in the spar section, which delivers desirable handling and high level of rider satisfaction.
3. Information at a Glance:
The dashboard of the bike includes twin large digital screens. It has rev-counter and speedometer on the left whereas on the right it boasts a fuel gauge, clock, odometer and warning lights. Both sides have white back light.
4. Strong Torque:
Honda CBR650F has DOHC 16-valve cylinder head, which employs direct cam actuation and cam timing that delivers strong torque and drivability below 4000rpm. The bike reaches maximum power at 11000 rpm with a peak torque of 8000rpm.

The shock and telescopic forks of the bike are developed in accordance to the performance parameter of bike’s frame that brings supple, neutral control in all conditions. The firm spring rates makes it more sports-oriented focussed.
