2011 Yamaha YZR M1 MotoGP Race Bike launched

Yamaha Motors which always participates in MotoGP bike race has just launched its 2011 Yamaha YZR M1 MotoGP Race Bike in Malaysia. Now the sponsor of the bike is Petroleum major Petronas and its logo has been pasted on the body of the bike.

 

The new Yamaha YZR M1 MotoGP Race Bike has almost same appearance as Yamaha R1. The 2011 Yamaha M1 has minimal graphics on the body, only the Yamaha sticker and Petronas logo have been pasted on it.

 

In 2011 MotoGP Race, the two world champions are going to participate in shade of Yamaha flag. The name of these riders are Jorge Lorenzo from Spain and Ben Spies from America.

 

The new 2011 Yamaha M1 bike has innovative and powerful features which market it super racer bike. The bike is loaded with Liquid cooled Crossplane crankshaft inline four-cylinder, four stroke engine. While power of the engine is 200 Bhp Plus and top speed of the bike is 320 Kph Plus. Transmission system of the bike is six-speed and gearbox is cassette-type.

 

This solid bike has chassis of Aluminium twin tube delta box shape and multi-adjustable steering geometry. The suspension of the bike are Ohlins upside down front forks and Ohlins rear shock. The tyres of the bike are fatter and sleek that are capable to provide good balance for the rider. The bike has 320mm two Brembo disc brakes at front and single 220mm stainless steel disc brake at rear. The maximum weight of the bike is 150 kg.

 

Yamaha launched Yamaha FZ 1 and Yamaha SZ R last year. It is also reported to launch a new Yamaha R15 in India.
