Yamaha India is all set to introduce the 2013 Yamaha R15 V2.0, which will be a refreshed version with four new paint jobs on offer. The bike will come with 4 different colour themes including Racing Blue, Invincible Black, Raring Red and Thundering Green with stunning sticker and graphic job.
The 2013 update model has just got the cosmetic updates and the rest of the motorcycle remains unchanged. These models will soon go on sales and the existing 2012 models will be phased out from the dealerships soon.
Yamaha R15 is known as a performance oriented motorcycle due to its superb handling dynamics and strong engine performance. The Yamaha R15 was launched in the Indian market in 2008, and was updated in 2011 and re-badged as R15 Version 2.0. The V2.0 came with new styling, wider tires and split and raised pillion seat and even aggressive looks, which makes it even closer to the Yamaha R1.
The engine has been remained same but for improved performance, the motorcycle was updated with a remapped ECU. The Yamaha R15 Version 2.0 comes equipped with a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled 150cc four stroke engine, with a 4-valve SOHC vavletrain, which comes mated to a 6-speed close ratio manual gearbox.
Bike's build quality has the standards of a racing bike, it features a Deltabox frame with an aluminium swingarm that makes it more agile. The fuel-injected motor churns out a maximum power of 17bhp with 15Nm of torque. These new paint-jobs will help the bike to attract more buyers towards it.
