Royal Enfield has recently launched Goan Classic 350, a bobber styled motorcycle which is based on the Classic 350. The Goan gets changes such as a new ape-hanger handlebar, slash-cut exhaust, new floating rear seat, different front and rear fenders, forward-set footpegs, a different subframe which reduces the seat height to 750mm, white-walled tyres and tubeless spoke wheels. The bike remains mechanically unchanged and is powered by the same 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which makes 20PS at 6,100rpm and 27Nm at 4,000rpm, and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is available in four stunning colours, lets have a look:
Purple Haze
Price: Rs 2,35,000 (ex-showroom, Chennai)
The Purple Haze colour scheme on the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 gets black front and rear fenders, side panels, exhaust and wheels. This colour scheme gets a purple coloured tear-drop shaped fuel tank with the new Royal Enfield logo painted on it in white. The tank also gets the word “Goan” which is in a darker shade of purple. The side panels get white Goan Classic 350 badging and the bike overall looks quite handsome. If you are someone who prefers subtle tones, the Purple Haze is a colour which would win your heart.
Shack Black
Price: Rs 2,35,000 (ex-showroom, Chennai)
Featuring the new sun-logo of Royal Enfield on the tank, the Shack Black colour scheme looks very stealthy thanks to the blacked-out treatment it gets. Everything including the panels, fenders, and exhaust is blacked out. The tank and side panels get gold-coloured Goan Classic 350 badging and a glossy black design which is done to the lower half and adds a sophisticated touch to the motorcycle. The white-walled tyres and black wheels really go well with this paint scheme. Even though this colour scheme does not scream for attention, it looks very elegant and complete.
Rave Red
Price: Rs 2,38,000 (ex-showroom, Chennai)
The Rave Red is a dual-tone red-black colour scheme. Priced slightly higher than the Purple Haze and Shack Black, Rave Red gets a dual-tone fuel tank. When you look from above, the fuel tank gets a heart-shaped design on the rear half in black while the other half is red, both colours are separated by a thin white line. It also gets the new sun-emblem of Royal Enfield in silver. The dual-tone theme continues to the front and rear fenders.
The black fenders get a red strip which runs along the length separated by white lines on either side. The Rave Red gets a black exhaust, and red-alloy wheels which go hand-in-hand with the white walled tyres.
Trip Teal
Price: Rs 2,38,000 (ex-showroom, Chennai)
Nothing screams Goan more than the Trip Teal colour scheme. Trip Teal is the second offering in the dual-tone colour scheme. The gorgeous teal colour is highlighted by a splash of orange. Starting from the front, the fender gets a dual-tone teal and orange finish with an orange stripe running down surrounded by teal on either side separated by white lines. This theme continues down the bike as when you look from above, you will see the orange strip starting from the front fender, going along the tank and finishing on the rear fender. Coming to the side, the first thing you notice is that, Trip Teal is the only colour scheme which gets a chrome exhaust, body-coloured headlight surround and fork covers. The tank gets Royal Enfield’s traditional logo in white and a mandela design in orange which is surrounded by a white line to separate it from the teal. The side panels have a teal finish with Goan Classic 350 lettering finished in white. The bike gets orange coloured wheels which really compliment the white-walled tyres.
Bikedekho Says
Royal Enfield has done a fantastic job when it comes to the colour schemes of the Goan Classic 350 to make it stand-out from the crowd. All the pain schemes look very beautiful and match the Goan vibe this vehicle tries to portray. Our favourite colour being the Trip Teal as nothing looks more Goan than this paint scheme.
