Kawasaki’s lightning fast Ninja H2R that occupied a handsome amount of space in the heart of every biker seems to be delivering its design cues to its younger sibling, the ZX-10R soon. The H2R inspired Ninja ZX-10R would be launched next year and if things go in the right direction, the entire Ninja fleet will receive the H2R appearance. This will eventually help Kawasaki step up the sales due to the awe inspiring curves and edges present in H2. As seen in pictures, the upcoming version of the ZX-10R would be incorporated with a lightweight carbon fibre front profile along with the majestic twin headlamp section taken from the H2. The LED Daytime Running Lights looks appealing and enhances the visuals. The practicality that the H2R inspired version will actually make it to the production lines is due to the fact that the Versys launched earlier this year share some aspects of the H2R as well.
Talking on the mechanical front, the refreshed ZX-10R will continue to get its power from the existing motor that churns out 200PS of raw power. Taking the other side, the beast is expected to be bestowed with a host of technical boons such as upgrades to the chassis, suspension and electronics. Besides working on the ZX-10R, the Japanese auto major is also working on its flagship model - Ninja H2R to transform it into an ultimate speed weapon and extract a 400kmph top speed mark from it. For this, Kawasaki USA has tested the bike at the Mojave desert earlier this month and will soon come up with the official timings and top speed achieved.
