  • The brakes are one of the locally-sourced components.

Kawasaki India has issued a mass recall of all units of the Ninja 300 built here in India from 2018 onwards. The Japanese manufacturer says that the recall is to rectify an issue with the front master cylinder made by Endurance. The braking units were one of the major areas where Kawasaki sought localisation for the Ninja 300.

After speaking to a few Kawasaki dealerships, we can confirm that the company has started the rectification process. The outlets are not divulging what exactly was the issue with the master cylinder but have stated that the issue could potentially lead to brake failure. Kawasaki will be replacing the faulty units with a brand new one free of cost. Affected customers will be contacted by their respective dealerships in the next few days.
