The Himalayan now comes in a total of six colours, but which one suits you best?

Royal Enfield recently launched the 2021 Himalayan with a handful of updates to keep it relevant in the thriving ADV space. Apart from tripper navigation, a new windscreen, and revised ergos, Royal Enfield has also introduced a couple of colours to keep the bike looking fresh. So you now have a total of six colours to choose from, but which one’s the best of the lot? Here’s what we think:

Mirage Silver

Nothing out of the ordinary to be honest. Some of you may like silver, but the lack of graphics makes it a bit drab. A dual-tone colour scheme or perhaps coloured fenders would have surely upped its style quotient.

Gravel Grey

Sweet and simple! The mix of grey and black looks quite pleasing to the eyes. It isn’t overdone in any way and could be a nice option if you like things a bit subtle.

Pine Green

Now, we have mixed feelings about this one. Some of us like it, but I’m not a big fan. A slightly darker shade of green or probably a camo colour scheme would have looked better. It’s down to personal preference, though. You can check out the bike in detailed images here.

Lake Blue

Lake Blue may be from the previous iterations, but it’s still one of the best looking liveries on the Himalayan. The rich colour combinations of white, blue and black make the bike pop and will surely help you steal the show.

Rock Red

The gloss black finish on the tank and fenders looks neat and is easier to clean compared to a matte finish. Overall, it’s the sheer elegance of the colour that appeals to us the most.

Granite Black

If it was down to us, we’d pick Granite Black. It just speaks to you. Sure, it’s the same old matte black colour but it gets a tastefully done smidgen of metallic black on the tank. The numbering on the tank adds to the overall allure. It looks sporty, rugged and understated at the same time, perfectly highlighting the off-road attributes of the Himalayan.
