Launch timeline, expected price, variants, here’s a lowdown into all the details about the upcoming bike
New spy shots of the upcoming 2022 Bajaj Pulsar N150 have surfaced on the internet, and the bike looks closer to production. Here’s everything we know about the bike.
Pulsar 150-inspired styling
The test mule gets the Pulsar’s distinctive bikini faired face, as Bajaj knows not to tinker with the winning design formula. The split seat setup looks similar to the Pulsar F250 / Pulsar N250. You can see a projector headlight with the trademark Pulsar cowling along with LED ‘Wolf Eye’ DRLs. On the other hand, the LED taillight design looks similar to the one on the Pulsar 250 twins.
It’ll be available in two variants
The most important revelation that comes from the latest spy shots about the Pulsar N150 is that the bike will be available in two variants: One featuring discs at both ends (with single-channel ABS) that was spotted earlier, and the newly spied base variant that features a drum at the rear.
Engine
Powering the 2022 Pulsar N150 will most likely be a Pulsar 250-derived single-cylinder engine. That said, in terms of output figures, we don’t expect significant changes as opposed to the current Pulsar 150 that produces 14PS and 13.25Nm.
Features & Underpinnings
The Pulsar N150 will get the same semi-digital instrument cluster as the Pulsar F250 and Pulsar N250 with the analogue pod housing the tachometer while the LCD screen packing the speedometer, trip meter, fuel level readout, gear position indicator, and time.
It’ll also share its chassis with the quarter-litre twins. The motorcycle will be suspended on a telescopic front fork, rear monoshock, disc brake up front and a rear disc/drum setup.
Price and Rivals
The 2022 Bajaj Pulsar N150 is likely to launch in September with a price tag of about Rs 1.07 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched it will go up against the likes of Yamaha FZ-Fi Version 3.0, Honda Unicorn and the TVS Apache RTR 160.
