As mentioned earlier, the design of the Yamaha XSR 155 is still the same as before. Meanwhile, the two new colours are Matte Dark Blue Authentic and Yamaha World Grand Prix 60th Anniversary livery. The Matte Dark Blue colour will attract mature folks as it lends the bike a simple and classy look. To complement its matte blue colour, the XSR 155 also gets a silver plate at its side, white graphics on the tank and a few aluminium touches.
The Yamaha World Grand Prix 60th Anniversary livery on the other hand, is inspired by the red and white colour combination on the YZR500 (0W48) used by Kenny Roberts at the 1980 Grand Prix in the 500cc class. And to complement this paint scheme, the bike is offered with golden alloys and a USD fork.
The XSR 155 is offered with features such as an LED headlight and taillight and an LCD instrument cluster. The bike also gets a single-piece seat and a teardrop-shaped 10.4-litre fuel tank.
Powering the XSR 155 is a 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with VVA technology that makes 19.3PS and 14.7Nm. This engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox assisted by an assist and slipper clutch.
The ride of the bike is taken care of by a USD fork up front and a monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, for braking, it employs disc brakes at both ends. The bike comes equipped with 17-inch wheels at both ends. These wheels come wrapped in tyres, having a 110-section unit at the front and a 140-section unit at the rear.
The XSR 155 Matte Dark Blue Authentic is priced at Rp. 36,905,000 (around Rs 1.91 lakh) while the Yamaha World Grand Prix 60th Anniversary livery costs Rp. 37,505,000 (around Rs 1,94,400) on-road in Jakarta.
