September 2023 was packed with action, and it seems that October will follow suit with a smaller but no less exciting lineup of new two-wheelers. Let's take a look at what October 2023 has in store:
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is generating a buzz as one of the most anticipated upcoming bikes. While spy shots have shown us what it looks like, recently leaked homologation documents have given us even more details into the bike’s specs. Once here, its rivals will include the KTM 390 Adventure and the upcoming Hero XPulse 400.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Expected Price - Rs 2.80 lakh (ex-showroom)
Aprilia RS 457
Practical adventure bikes aside, next is the supersport from Aprilia, the RS 457. Be it its looks, its hardware or the parallel-twin engine, it sounds very desirable. It was globally unveiled last month and once here, it’ll go up against the Kawasaki Ninja 400.
Aprilia RS 457 Expected Price - Rs 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom)
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650
Royal Enfield's 650cc lineup might welcome a new member this month, the Shotgun 650. The bike was last spotted in May this year. We even managed to get our hands on some documents that revealed how much the bobber could weigh. Check that out here.
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Expected Price - Rs 3.25 lakh (ex-showroom)
Triumph Scrambler 400X
Following the launch of the Speed 400 earlier this year, Triumph is now gearing up to launch its scrambler variant, the Scrambler 400X. The Speed 400 is priced fantastically and we expect the same for the Scrambler too.
Triumph Scrambler 400 X Expected Price - Rs 2.70 lakh (ex-showroom)
New Ather 450S Variant
Recently, leaked documents revealed that the Ather 450S will soon get a new variant with a solid 156km certified range! And with that, we expect its Rs 1,29,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru, including FAME 2 subsidies) price to see a nominal increase. Rivals for the Ather 450S electric scooter include the Ola S1 Air, TVS iQube Electric and the Bajaj Chetak.
Kinetic e-Luna
Bringing our list to a close is the Kinetic e-Luna, which is expected to make its debut this month. With an estimated top speed of 50kmph and a range of around 100km, it's set to be an interesting addition to the electric moped market. This model is projected to be priced in the range of Rs 80,000 to Rs 90,000, making it an attractively priced option for those looking for electric mobility.
