Overwhelmed by the success of Yamaha's new FZ series bikes in India, the japanese two-wheeler manufacturer is now planning to enter in scooter segment in the country. However, this is not going to happen very soon. It will take another three years. The news is confirmed by India Yamaha Motor's CEO Yukimine Tsuji. He said that the scooter market in India is rich and the volume is 1.2 million units per year. Yukimine added that the company wants to see the same success as it experienced in urban areas of the country which include Kolkata as well. The company has its presence in each and every motorcycle class. It has recently introduced limited edition of FZ series bikes in India. The company has 125cc Gladiator, 150cc R15, 106cc G5, Crux and Alba models, 153cc Limited Editions FZS, Fazer and FZ 16.
