This reduced monthly EMI is available for the first three months of ownership only, though
- The BS6-compliant Pulsar 125 is available in three variants: drum, disc and split seat.
- It gets a starting price of Rs 70,995.
- The split seat variant also features an engine cowl.
In a bid to push sales, Bajaj has introduced a special finance scheme for potential Pulsar 125 customers. You can now pay the first three EMI’s for 50 per cent less the original cost if you were to pick up the bike on finance. There is a catch though: the remainder for the first three EMI’s will be adjusted through the course of your loan tenure. In other words, it’ll be easier on the pocket initially but you’ll still end up paying for the difference in the future.
Triumph has taken a similar approach recently but it completely covered the first three months of the bike’s EMI. We’ve given a table below to give you an idea of how the scheme works.
*Prices as per Madhya Pradesh
The Pulsar 125 is available in three variants: drum, disc and split seat. It gets a starting price of a little over Rs 70,000. The latest split seat variant, as the name suggests, gets a sportier split seat setup instead of a single-piece seat. It also features an engine cowl which adds a touch of sportiness.
In terms of performance, its 124.4cc fuel-injected, air-cooled, single-cylinder, counterbalanced engine produces 11.8PS at 8500rpm and 10.8Nm at 6500rpm. It makes use of a 5-speed transmission.
In terms of competition, the Pulsar 125 goes up against the likes of the Honda SP 125, Honda Shine BS6, Hero Super Splendor and the Hero Glamour 125 Fi.
