Bajaj Pulsar 150NS revealed in Turkey, Churns out 17PS

The Indigenous two wheeler manufacturer- Bajaj Auto has revealed its upcoming Pulsar 150NS at a Trade Fair in Istanbul, Turkey. Along with the model exhibition, the company also disclosed the technical specifications of the motorcycle and one of the most exciting specs is the power output of 17PS.
Propelling the new Bajaj Pulsar 150NS is a new 149.5cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with 4-valve and Triple-Spark technologies. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed transmission and uses a carburetor type fuel system. It claims to deliver power upto 16.8bhp at 9,000rpm and torque upto 13Nm at 7,500rpm.
The upcoming Pulsar 150NS is based on the existing 200NS’ platform and looks almost similar to it. Overall dimensions (length x width x height) of the bike are 2105mm x 800mm x 1220mm and it has a wheelbase of 1363mm. It weighs 144 kg and the fuel tank capacity is 12 litres. The bike runs on 17” 10-spoke alloys with 100/90 section rear and 80/100 section front tubeless tyre. The front wheel has been equipped with a petal disc brake while the rear gets a drum type unit. It has the similar telescopic forks at the front, which comes with the existing Pulsar 150, while the rear has a Nitrox mono-shock like the 200NS.
The new Bajaj Pulsar 150NS will compete with premium 150cc offerings in the market like the Yamaha FZ series, Suzuki Gixxer and Honda CB Unicorn 160 and will be priced under Rs. 75,000. However, it will get the advantages of being the most powerful motorcycle in the corresponding segment.
