Bajaj Records 3 Percent Hike in Motorcycle Sales in November 2015

The Pune-based auto maker, Bajaj Auto has recorded a hike of 3 percent in its motorcycle sales during the month of November 2015. The company managed to sell 2,70,886 units of motorcycles during the month against the 2,61,948 units sold in November 2014. The overall sales of the company remain constant in both the months with a fall of 18 percent in the commercial vehicle (three-wheelers) segment.

Recently, Bajaj launched three new models under the India’s most affordable cruiser brand- Avenger. The new bikes are Avenger 150 Street, Avenger 220 Street and Avenger 220 Cruise. These new models are performing pretty well in the market along with the other value for money products like the new generation Pulsar models.

Some time back, the company also re-launched one of its star performers- CT 100 commuter, which is also contributing a huge number to its sales figure. The company’s other commuter motorcycles- Platina 100 ES, Discover 125, Discover 150S and Discover 150F are also performing well in the terms of sales.
