Bajaj selects its rival

India’s legendary two wheeler manufacturing company has declared an open war against the renowned Japanese two wheeler company Honda to establish its dominance in the segment of sports bike in Indian bike market. At present Bajaj offers wide range of Pulsar motorcycles in Indian market namely Bajaj Pulsar, Bajaj Pulsar 150, and Bajaj Pulsar 220 all these Pulsar brand of motorcycles are highly appreciated by the motorcycle lovers in India. With this recently launched super bike Kawasaki Ninja 650R from Bajaj is also getting the positive response from the super bike enthusiasts.
The auto experts have named this war of supremacy as the new Age Mahabharata, in which Pulsar motorcycle has been renamed with the codename Krishna by the employees of Bajaj Auto’s takes over the throne from the Japanese company in the second largest motorcycle market throughout the world.
Commenting on this competition, Mr. Milind Bade, General Manager, Marketing, Bajaj Auto’s said, Bajaj Auto’s intends to protect itself by strengthening its position in the market before the skilled rival like Honda attacks on them. Mr. Bade further added that Bajaj Auto’s has always been superior to Honda as far as sales figures are concerned but due to improper marketing strategy the customers are not aware about their strong existence in the market. The latest television promotion vouches it.
On the other side there are rumours that Honda is speculating to introduce wide array of new motorcycle models in Indian market under its independent flagship Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India (HMSI) which came into existence after the termination of contract between Hero Honda six months back.
There are reports that where at one side Honda Motors refused to comment on the promotional strategy of Bajaj Auto’s the other Japanese company Yamaha said that the promotions do not sale the product it is the performance which reflects the decision of the customers.
