Benelli TRK 502 BS6 Launch Date Revealed

The TRK 502 will be the second BS6 offering from Benelli.

• The TRK 502 is expected to retail around Rs 5.30 lakh to Rs 5.40 lakh. 
• The bike will feature some key updates to its ergonomics and the feature list. 
• The power output is likely to remain unchanged.

We recently brought you the exclusive spy shots of the BS6 Benelli TRK 502. Now, the company has announced Jan 29 as the bike’s official launch day. The updated model will probably retail at around Rs 5.30 lakh- Rs 5.40 lakh.

For the premium, Benelli is offering some new features and better ergonomics, apart from cleaner emissions. New aluminium knuckle guards, revised rear-view mirrors, and new handlebar grips are all part of the updates.

These aside, the BS6 TRK 502 will come with backlit switchgear and a white backlight for the semi-digital instrument cluster. It will also get a revised seat with better cushioning, for enhanced rider comfort. 

Performance figures are likely to remain unchanged, despite meeting the BS6 emission norms. The 500cc, twin-cylinder motor is expected to churn out around more or less the same 47PS and 46Nm as before. The braking setup and the suspension components are likely to remain unchanged as well.

When launched, it will slot right between the proven offerings like the Kawasaki Versys 650, and even the more affordable ones like the KTM 390 Adventure. 

Currently, there is only one BS6-compliant Benelli motorcycle available in the market -- the Imperiale 400. But, Benelli plans to change this by launching a new motorcycle every 1.5 months.
