Both the TRK 502 and TRK 502X receive this bump in price.
- The introductory offer ceases to exist.
- Online bookings for both bikes still active.
- Raised prices are not too severe.
After receiving a healthy interest for the two offerings, Benelli India has increased the prices of the TRK 502 and TRK 502X by Rs 10,000. The two bikes had managed to rack up over 150 bookings within the first 15 days of its launch with the 502X being the more sought after machine of the two. The small price hike sees the ex-showroom pricing of the bikes go up to Rs 5.10 lakh and Rs. 5.50 lakh. Even then, the TRKs remain the nearly a lakh cheaper than the Kawasaki Versys 650.
Online booking of the two adventure motorcycles remain active on Benelli’s website. However, the introductory period offer with free accessories had ceased to exist a while back, with the price hike in effect from 21 April. Benelli has also expanded its network as a new dealership was opened in Noida recently.
The TRK 502s are Benelli’s first new products after the company’s Indian revival. Powered by a 500cc liquid-cooled parallel twin, the 502s are quite friendly machines. They look intimidating, styling cues from Ducati Multistrada is clearly evident, but that is not the case behind the bars. To know more on how the two TRKs ride, read our review here.
