BMW Motorrad has launched two of its high performance bikes in India: the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure and the BMW S 1000 RR. The R 1300 GSA is the top-of-the-line adventure bike from the brand and the S 1000 RR is the company’s flagship supersport 1000cc bike.
BMW R 1300 GS Adventure
The BMW R 1300 GS Adventure is the top model in BMW’s Adventure bike range and has been launched at an introductry price of Rs 22,95,000 (ex-showroom). It has a unique, boxy design, which makes it look different from the BMW R 1300 GS.
Engine
This bike is powered by a 1300cc, liquid-cooled boxer engine that produces 145PS and 149Nm of torque. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.
Underpinnings
The bike’s suspension includes a complex telelever setup in the front and a paralever setup in the rear. The telelever reduces fork dive during hard braking, making it more stable than conventional suspension setups. Additionally, riders can opt for an adjustable ride height suspension.
Features
Features-wise, the bike comes with all-LED lighting, a 10.25-inch TFT instrument screen, smartphone connectivity, and has four riding modes: Eco, Rain, Road, and Enduro. It also includes traction control, cruise control, hill-hold assist, heated grips, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), along with key fob for keyless operation.
2025 BMW S 1000 RR
The 2025 BMW S 1000 RR is a high-performance supersport bike. It has an aggressive design, with winglets that highlight its sporty nature. The bike has been launched at an introductry price of Rs 21,10,000 (ex-showroom).
Engine & Chassis
It features a 999cc inline-four engine, delivering 208PS and 112.5Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch, and bi-directinal quickshifter as standard. Underpinnings include a 45mm inverted fork and monoshock suspension setup along with dual 320mm discs up front and a 220 disc brake at the rear.

For features, the bike comes with a 6.5-inch colour TFT with Bluetooth connectivity, and many advanced electronics including traction control, riding modes, cornering ABS, cruise control, launch control, slide control, brake slide assist and wheelie control.
