Both scooters get more eco-friendly with minor technical changes
After recently updating the R15 V4 and MT-15 V2 to BS6.2 spec, Yamaha has now given the similar eco-friendly updates to its scooter range, the Fascino 125 Hybrid and Ray ZR 125 Hybrid, making them the first flex-fuel scooters in India. While the disc variant of the Fascino is available for Rs 91,030 (a Rs 2300 hike), that of the Ray ZR can be had for Rs 89,530, and Rs 93,530 for the equivalent Street Rally version which are Rs 1,500 and Rs 2,500 costlier, respectively (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
Along with the technical updates, both the scooters also get new colourways. While the disc variant of Fascino and the Ray ZR get a new Dark Matt Blue color, the Ray ZR Street Rally gets two new attractive colors: Matte Black and Light Grey Vermillion. Moreover, the existing Matt Red, Metallic Black, and Cyan Blue colour schemes on both the disc and drum variants of Ray ZR get new graphics.
Other than these changes, though, both the Fascino and the Ray ZR stay unchanged, sporting the same 125cc engine making 8.2 PS and up to 10.3 Nm, with start-stop tech and electric assist. Additionally, the top (disc) variants continue to offer the Yamaha Y-Connect smartphone connectivity suite with features like fuel consumption tracker, maintenance reminder, and last parked location, but still no turn-by-turn navigation.
