It gets a top speed of 100kmph along with a 137km range

Spanish EV manufacturer Silence Urban Mobility has unveiled a new version of its S01 e-moto scooter named the S01+. The company claims that it’s an improved version of the S01 with performance equivalent to a 125cc motorcycle.

Available in two options: 5.6kW battery or a 7.5kW one, the scooter delivers a range of about 137 km on a single charge. It can go from 0 to 48km/h in 3.9 seconds. The scooter comes equipped with ride modes including Sport mode and Push-to-Pass mode. Sport mode allows a top speed of 100kmph, while Push-to-Pass gives a boost of speed to help while overtaking and pushes the top speed further, to 110kmph.

It comes loaded to the T with modern bits such as an all-LED lighting, regenerative braking, adjustable suspension and a USB charging port. The electric scooter also features Apple and Android connectivity for mobile phone devices, including embedded Google Maps. What’s impressive is that the scooter has a maximum payload of about 200kg. Tipping the scales at 111kg (without the battery pack) would make it not all that heavy, even when you install the battery..

Complementing its futuristic looks, the scooter gets a contrast texture seat with red detailing and Anthracite grey paint.

While the price tag of 6,795 Pounds (approximately Rs 6.53 lakh) makes it a pricey proposition, the scooter boasts modern features to back it up. We probably won’t be seeing this scooter in India so instead you could have a look at the likes of Ather 450X, Ola S1 Pro and TVS iQube Electric.
