Two-wheeler manufacturers have extended their services by up to three months
Two-wheeler owners whose warranty and free service coupons are set to expire during the nation-wide lockdown are in a fix, especially with new reports suggesting the lockdown may be extended to contain the coronavirus pandemic. That said, manufacturers such as Honda, TVS, Yamaha and Bajaj have taken the current situation into account and extended their warranty coverage and free service facility by up to three months (click here to know more). And now, brands like Hero MotoCorp, KTM and Suzuki have joined the bandwagon too.
Owners of Hero MotoCorp’s two-wheelers whose free service is due between March 21 and April 30 can now redeem the facility until June 2020. This applies to those who have opted for Hero's Joyride (AMC) services as well. Customers whose vehicle warranties are set to expire between this period have the services extended until June 2020 as well. And despite the lockdown, Hero will continue to offer support via its toll-free 24x7 customer helpline number (18002660018). This includes support for all sales, after-sales, service and warranty related queries.
KTM too has extended its support for two-wheelers whose free services and warranty expire in March, April or May 2020. KTM will continue to offer these services until June 30.
Last, but not the least, customers who own vehicles from Suzuki Motorcycles will benefit from service extensions as well. This is applicable for those customers whose warranty and service period expire between March 15 and April 30. The brand will continue to offer its support until June 30.
