2025 Honda Unicorn Launched In India

Quick News Highlights

  • Honda India has launched the 2025 Unicorn

  • Gets a new OBD2B compliant engine

  • Features a new digital instrument console

Honda India has updated the Honda Unicorn for 2025. The bike now comes at a price of Rs 1,19,481 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike has seen addition of a few new features such as a digital instrument console among others. Here’s everything you need to know.

The 2025 Honda Unicorn features a new LED headlight, which is a big upgrade from the halogen one that was offered earlier. The 162.71cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine is now OBD2B compliant. The engine outputs 13.18PS and 14.58Nm. Other than this, the bike now features a new negatively lit digital instrument console.

The new console offers readouts like speed, fuel-level, time, along with tripmeter and odometer readouts. The console also has a relatively clean layout, and the addition of a tachometer readout also enhances convenience.

Other features on offer include service due alerts, along with other bits like an eco indicator. The eco indicator in particular is quite a good feature, as it will allow riders to ride their bikes in a way that helps maximise its mileage. Lastly, the bike also gets a dedicated USB type-C charging port. This is a really nice addition, and will make it easier for riders to charge their phones while on the go.

Overall, the addition of these features has really made the Honda Unicorn a bike worth considering. One of the frequent complaints we had was the lack of updates and changes. But Honda has now fixed this with the 2025 update.

Other than these changes, the Honda Unicorn remains unchanged. The bike is a relatively affordable 160cc commuter motorcycle which has been popular for its reliable engine and performance. It is offered in 3 colours: Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, and Radiant Red Metallic.

In other news, Honda had recently updated their premium commuter bike, the Honda SP160. Now it offers a lot more features including smartphone connectivity and related features.
