DSK Benelli Motorcycles to be launched in India on 19th March

DSK Benelli has send us a block date invitation, which says, “Get Ready To Listen To A Benelli on 19th March 2015”. The company is going to launch 5 Tornado Naked Tre Benelli motorcycles on the respective day including the TNT 300, TNT 600 i, TNT 600 GT, TNT 899 and TNT 1130. The company had already unveiled all the 5 motorcycles in India along with 3 other models, to be launched after them.

Let’s take a brief introduction of these 5 Benelli motorcycles to be launched on 19th March, 2015.

The entry-level performance motorcycle- Benelli TNT 300 is a 300cc parallel twin-cylinder engine powered naked sport motorcycle, which will be positioned against the offerings like KTM 390 Duke and Kawasaki Z250. Liquid-cooled motor of the bike delivers 37bhp of maximum power and torque upto 27Nm using electronic fuel injection. It has many advance features like the 41mm inverted front forks, rear mono-shock with preload and rebound adjustments, dual front and single rear petal disc brakes, lightweight aluminium alloys, 120/70 section front and 160/60 rear tubeless tyres and more.

Benelli TNT 600 i is another feature loaded naked sport motorcycle in the mid-weight performance segment. The bike houses a very advance 600cc, inline 4-cylinder engine, which makes a maximum power of 84bhp and 52Nm of peak torque. It also gets super sticky 120/70 section front and 180/55 section rear Metzeler Sportec tyres.

Benelli TNT 600 GT is a touring motorcycle based on the 600 i model and gets the similar inline-4 motor with slightly increased torque output. The bike also gets better ergonomics, aerodynamics and lighting arrangement, which makes it more compatible for long journeys.

The high performance streetfighter motorcycle- Benelli TNT 899 is an aggressively styled motorcycle with a liquid-cooled, inline three-cylinder engine displacing 899cc. The roaring motor of the bike churns out raw power upto 121bhp and delivers torque upto 88Nm.

Benelli TNT 1130 is the most powerful naked sport machine of the company, which looks almost identical to the TNT 899 model. However, it gets a bigger 1130cc engine of similar configuration, making just 8bhp extra over the 899. Now if we talk about the benefit of using a bigger engine then it is the peak torque output of 110Nm, which is 22Nm higher.
