Harley-Davidson might not have unveiled any new motorcycle, but the bike maker did reveal some information regarding two of its most-anticipated motorcycles: the Pan America and the Bronx. Apart from announcing some crucial details about its first ADV, Harley also disclosed new information about the streetfighter.
We knew that the Bronx is powered by a new 975cc 60-degree V-twin liquid-cooled engine, but what about its power output? Well, Harley says that this powerplant churns out more than 116PS and 95Nm. The American bikemaker also revealed that it has partnered with Brembo to develop new monoblock calipers, which are specifically designed for the streetfighter and so are the tyres, which are co-developed by Michelin.
Apart from this, Harley-Davidson hasn’t revealed much about the Bronx, but it is highly likely that it will come equipped with a TFT screen, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control and heated grips. Earlier this year, Harley-Davidson unveiled its 2020 model lineup, which has received the new H-D Connect service -- a subscription-based feature for its motorcycles. Once paired with a smartphone, the app will display battery voltage, fuel level, tyre pressure, riding statistics and service reminders. Expect the new Bronx to carry forward these features.
Harley-Davidson will officially launch the motorcycle abroad next year, meaning that it could come to our shores by 2021 and could retail at around Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom).
