#EICMA2015: Hyosung GD 450 Unveiled

Hyosung has revealed a new street fighter GD 450 at the 2015 EICMA in Milan. The naked sports bike flaunts aggressive and meaner looks and is equipped with a powerful engine as well.

The Korean monster resembles GD 250N and is built on a new trellis frame with a dual sided aluminium swingarm. The bike gets a muscular fuel tank with shrouds and raised tail. The engine has been coupled with an underbelly exhaust, which enhances the predator appeal of the machine.

On the account of power, the motorcycle is equipped with 450cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which manages to pump out a maximum power of 49bhp and a peak torque amount of 47.7Nm. Unlike the previous models, the new bike is mated with a constant mesh 6-speed gearbox. The braking characteristics are enhanced by 300mm single disc brake at the front and a 230mm single disc brake at the rear. The GD 450 receives inverted telescopic forks on the front and gas charged monoshock as a rear suspension.

The manufacturer has still not made any announcements about the pricing. The company has made its debut into the Indian market four years ago but did not succeed in attracting Indian bike enthusiasts. It is still not confirmed whether this new offering GD 450 will be made available in India or not but if there are any such plans, we can see it as Hyosung  taking some serious initiatives to establish itself here successfully.
