Evolet Inaugurates New Showroom In Mumbai

Ever since Evolet entered the Indian electric two-wheeler segment, it has been chalking out aggressive expansion plans. The EV manufacturer recently opened a new showroom in Mumbai and plans to add 100 touchpoints in India by March next year. Twenty of these new showroom will come up in Maharashtra alone.

Apart from Mumbai, Evolet has already opened dealerships in Pune, Nasik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Satara, Kohlapur and Jalgaon. The brand is also planning to sell around 150 units per dealer by March next year. Unlike other EV manufacturers like Ather and Revolt, Evolet is planning to add dealerships in Tier II and Tier III cities like Muzaffarnagar, Sawantwadi, Mandsaur, Valsad and Zikrapur as well.
Currently, Evolet has three electric scooters on offer - Polo, Pony and Derby - and an electric ATV - the Warrior. In addition to these, the manufacturer is also planning to launch two electric motorcycles and a maxi-scooter in India in the next 3-4 months.

Mumbai: Seeing a fundamental shift towards a new competitive landscape, Evolet India, a Gurugram Based Startup is setting up its distributorship and dealership network for its range of electric vehicles models in Maharashtra region. The key cities identified for dealerships and distributorship in Maharashtra includes Mumbai, Pune, Nasik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Satara, Kohlapur and Jalgaon; the plan has been formalise for opening around 20 dealerships by March 2020 with target sales of around 150 units per month per dealer.
The Company’s pan India operations with special emphasis on Maharashtra are supported by a very strong and experienced team comprising Mr P. Nikam, HRH Sanyogita Atrey and H.H Manvinder Singh Pesawa. The Flagship showroom in the state is situated at Ground floor, Plot no 145, Jawahar co-op. Industrial estate, Kamothe, Panvel, Raigad and the sales are managed by Mr Manish Bangul, Manvendra Kulkarni and Prashant Salunkhe.
Commenting on the initiative, Sqn. Ldr. Evolet plans to expand its dealership network in Maharashtra by adding around 5-6 Dealerships per month from FY 2020-21. The company is focusing on the cities where the two-wheeler traction is maximum with an intention to move up its sales target of 1000 units a month by the end of this FY. Evolet has allocated around 13-15% of gross revenue for marketing and promotions. Beyond this dealer would be getting the extra benefits through the incentive schemes run by the company. After sales service, spare parts and accessories business is another revenue centre for the dealer. Apart from dealership network, Evolet is also targeting institutional sales and corporate sales to widen its domestic base. It launched its products in standard segment targeting riders of all age groups. Beyond this future launches will include models for executives and premium segments too.

Evolet has also identified key exports markets within Asia Pacific and the middle east and plans to start exporting of its products by 2020.
Brand Evolet, along with its range of models were recently launched at Delhi on 4th September, 2019 with subsequent opening up of its flagship showroom at Gurugram. The Prices of our models; Polo, Pony, Derby (scooters), Falcon, Hawk, Raptor (motorcycles) range between Rs 44,000 to Rs 1,40,000; the Warrior (ATV) is priced at Rs 1,50,000 and the buses range between Rs 1.25 Cr to Rs 1.75 Cr.
