The bike’s design seems to be inspired by the bigger Pulsar N150. It has a muscular fuel tank and a sleek tail section. And we got the clearest images yet
(Update: Bajaj has launched the Pulsar N125 and here's everything you need to know about it.)
Quick News Highlights:
- Expected to feature a new 125cc engine.
- To get front disc brake & rear drum with CBS (combined braking system)
- Likely to be priced at around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.
The Bajaj Pulsar N125 has been spied testing yet again. Though it was covered in camo wrap all around, the bike seems to feature a similar design as the bigger Bajaj Pulsar N150. It has a muscular fuel tank with sharp tank shrouds and a slim rear section.
At the front, the Bajaj Pulsar N125 has a new headlight design. It gets an easy-to-reach handlebar, split seat setup and a sleek single-piece grab rail. The footpegs are also mid-set, providing an upright and comfortable riding posture. It also has an underbelly exhaust.
We can also see the telescopic fork with fork covers and a monoshock at the rear. The bike also features a leg guard at the front and a centre stand as well. It was previously spied with a kick-start lever as well. However, we could not clearly see it this time, there is also a possibility of it being hidden by the rider’s leg. The bike seems to be fitted with 17-inch alloys with a similar design as the N150, on both ends. The tyre hugger also looks similar.
Bajaj may equip the Pulsar N125 with an all-new 125cc engine, as the current 125cc engines from the manufacturer haven't been updated in a long time now and are a bit outdated as compared to the competition. Bajaj could also provide a downsized version of the Pulsar N150’s engine. An all-new engine with better refinement and power would also make it easier for the upcoming Pulsar N125 to compete better with its rivals.
We expect the bike to launch in the next few months. Bajaj may price it at around Rs 1 lakh ex-showroom mark. It will compete with the other 125cc bikes including TVS Raider 125, Hero Xtreme 125R and Honda SP 125.
