Hero MotoCorp revealed a number of motorcycles back at EICMA 2023 under its EV brand, Vida. Hero recently trademarked a Vida electric off-road motorcycle which appears to be an electric motorcycle for kids.
From the pictures, it can be deduced that it is going to be a compact off-road motorcycle. The design is going to be rather basic and has a dirt bike like appearance with an off-road style front fender and large spoke wheels with off-road tyres. The electric motor can be seen centrally mounted .
There is also a small seat along with centre set footpegs. A small instrument console is also visible in the trademark images. The pictures do not provide any information about the braking setup of the motorcycle. No disk brake setup can be seen even for the front wheel, which will most probably be seen in the production version.
This motorcycle looks similar to the Hero Vida concept Acro revealed at EICMA 2023. The idea behind this off-road style EV could be to provide a learning platform for kids interested in off-roading. Although the trademark image gives us a rough idea about how the production motorcycle will look like, Hero MotoCorp has not revealed any specifications for this vehicle yet.
The production version of the motorcycle is likely to be a few years away and will probably be one of the first motorcycles to be made in India specifically for kids.
