It will offer a swappable battery available on a monthly subscription basis
(UPDATE: The Bounce Infinity E1 has been launched in India. Head here to read the launch story.)
The first electric scooter from Bounce, the Bengaluru-based rental EV maker, has been spotted testing in Mumbai. Here’s what you should know about it.
It’s no surprise that the Bounce EV looks almost identical to the 22 Kymco iFlow, considering 22Motors was recently acquired by Bounce. It gets the same retro design with the round LED headlight and curvy bodywork.

Bounce claims to have equipped the model with the first made-in-India swappable battery, which will be offered on a monthly subscription basis (this means Bounce will not be providing the battery as part of the package, presumably in an attempt to keep the e-scooter’s cost in check). The asking price of the EV will likely be around Rs 50,000.
While the specs have yet to be revealed, it won’t be a surprise if the Bounce EV makes the same power and offers the same range as the iFlow (2.1kW and a range of around 80km).
The LCD screen, telescopic fork, single-sided rear shock, and dual (front and rear) disc brakes also seem to be borrowed from the 22 Kymco scooter.
Bounce will build battery swap stations and make them available to both retail customers and ride-sharing businesses. The company plans to sell the upcoming EV online and via 200 dealers based out of Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad.
