Gets a few aesthetic changes and…
Bounce Infinity has sneakily launched a limited edition version of its Infinity e1 electric scooter, retailing at Rs 96,799 (ex-showroom Delhi), which is Rs 16,800 more than the top (with battery) variant. The limited edition model gets a few visual updates from the regular model. These include a black treatment to the floorboard panels, and a dark grey (or silver, depending on the colour scheme) stripe on the side panel – below the grab rail – with the ‘Limited Edition’ badge.
Except for these visual changes, however, the Bounce e1 Infinity Limited is identical to the top variant of the standard scooter. It sports a swappable 1.9kWh battery which can be topped right up in a claimed four hours. Its 1.5kW hub motor gets two drive modes – power and eco – with a drag mode for low-speed movement in case of punctures, and can hit a claimed 65kmph top speed. The five colour schemes it’s available in (Sparkle Black, Comet Grey, Sporty Red,Pearl White and Desat Silver) are also the same as the standard model.
To sum up, we believe the Bounce Infinity e1 Limited Edition is a niche buy for those chasing exclusivity. The average e-scooter buyer, then, would be just as happy with the standard model, or could check out its rivals, like the recently launched entry-level variant of the Ola S1, or stretch their budget a bit for the TVS iQube.
