The retro-styled 125cc scooter will be available in a new silver colour option
The Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid is all set to get a new metallic silver colour option in the disc brake variant. The colour variant was in fact spotted at the Yamaha dealer event, where it had shown the Yamaha Neo’s electric scooter as well.
The silver colour variant comes in a metallic finish complemented by metallic black highlights on the rear view mirror, headlight cowl, apron and side panels. It also features a brown seat cover, enhancing its premium quotient. Expect it to be priced the same as the regular disc brake equipped Dark Matte Blue, Suave Copper, Cool Blue Metallic variant, which starts from Rs 83,130 (ex-showroom Delhi). The silver colour exudes a more mature look compared to the other funky shades, and expect Yamaha to offer the colour variant soon. We’d have liked it if Yamaha had offered turn-by-turn navigation at least as a higher-end variant. That would’ve made the scooter even more wholesome than before.
There have been no other changes apart from the colour scheme. The Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid comes with a segment-first mild-hybrid technology, where the starter motor helps in improving the initial acceleration for a few seconds, thereby helping in conserving fuel. Its 125cc air-cooled engine churns out 8.2PS and 10.3Nm. The scooter is also the lightest in class, tipping the scales at just 99kg kerb. We’ve taken the Fascino 125 out for a spin and here’s our exclusive review.
