The Renegade Commando EFI and Renegade Sports S EFI now get fuel-injected BS-IV compliant engines with a slight bump in power
UM Motorcycles have unveiled BS-IV compliant variants of the Renegade Commando EFI and Renegade Sport S EFI motorcycles. The new fuel-injected engines result in a crisper throttle response and are better for cold starts. The Renegade Commando EFI and Renegade Sport S EFI are cruiser motorcycles powered by a 280cc engine which produces 26.36PS of maximum power at 8,500rpm and 23Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm, mated to a six-speed gearbox (power and torque are up by 1.2PS over the previous model). Both the bikes get service alert maintenance as standard fitment, charging socket, have huge 18-litre fuel tanks and weigh 172kg. The lightweight machines have an ergonomic design with low seat height, even after offering a 200mm ground clearance. Other interesting features of the bikes include USB charging port and storage area below the rear seat.
