The market has lately been buzzing with the news about the Garware-Hyosung launching a new range of bikes in India featuring in the range of 250-400 cc. One of the above-mentioned bikes might be a dual-purpose bike as the next year should see the company launching a 250 cc bike that would majorly be an off-road bike. This would not be the first off-road bike released by the company as there is already a 125 cc version of the same in the Indian market. Hyosung RT250D model would just be a bigger version of the off road bike with a heavier engine. Still there is no official confirmation about which bike would be the off-road motorcyle in terms of the engine capacity.
The trend that the company has followed for manufacturing its previous bikes would follow for the upcoming ones too with the company using completely knocked down kits at the motorcyles maker's Wai assembly unit in Maharashtra to assemble the bike. Another assembly unit set up is under plans with the intentions to expand its model line. The new unit should be constructed next to the current one. The partnership between the Indo-Korean giants has been bulldozing its way through the Indian market lately in terms of performance and so far it seems like there is no stopping them.
Honda CRF250L is supposed to be priced somewhere around 1.2-1.4 lakh. The 125 cc off road bike works on a single cylinder unit like most while the XRX400 400cc works on twin cylinders. This set of info just makes it interesting to guess what we can expect from the 250 cc version. The deciding factor would be the price at which the bike would be featured in the Indian market.
