Harley-Davidson To Offer Doorstep Delivery Of Its Motorcycles

Customers can now buy a motorcycle without setting foot inside a Harley dealership

• Delivery will commence immediately post lockdown.
• It will be free within a 40km limit. 
• Post-lockdown customers can also avail of test rides near their homes. 

Harley-Davidson is offering customers home delivery of their newly purchased motorcycles. While customers can book their favourite motorcycles and complete formalities from the comfort of their homes, the home deliveries will commence immediately after the COVID-19 lockdown is lifted. Customers living further than 40km from the dealership will have to pay a nominal amount for the service. The home delivery offer stands for all Harley-Davidson motorcycles from the Street 750 to the CVO Limited. According to the 2 Rivers H-D representative, while most dealerships are closed during the lockdown, interested customers can reach out via phone or social media. Dealer representatives will provide all the relevant information to customers via the phone, WhatsApp or mail. Customers can even pay the dealership via net banking and complete all formalities online. The dealership can also help in securing a loan online.

While Harley is not offering contactless delivery, their representative assures us that the brand’s new motorcycle will be completely sanitised before delivery. The delivery personnel will take all the necessary precautions such as wearing masks, gloves, etc.
