The Ola Electric S1 was launched in India this Independence Day, and the e-scooters look promising on paper. Pre-bookings for the e-scooter are already underway and deliveries are slated to commence October onwards across 1000+ cities in a staggered manner.

Thanks to the new policies on electric vehicles announced in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, the Ola Electric S1 is eligible for up to Rs 20,000 in subsidies. This makes Ola Electric’s scooter a tempting proposition, especially with the impressive range and plethora of features on offer with the S1.

The top-spec variant, S1 Pro, packs a few additional goodies, which have beenexplained in this story. And if you are wondering about charging, Ola Electric is working on an extensive Hypercharger network. The company intends to set up 5000 charging stations in over 100 cities within the next one year. These charging stations can provide a range of 75km in mere 18 minutes.
