Hero HX250R to be launched by November, 2014?

Exhibited at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, Hero HX250R is one of the most trending topic in the Indian two wheeler industry these days, and the reason is the company's latest TVC- 'ZIDD'. The campaign video features all the advanced upcoming products of the company, which were showcased at the Auto Expo along with the HX250R.
We were expecting that the bike will be launched sometime next year. Now, Zigwheels is claiming that the Hero HX250R is going to be launched by the November this year. However, lets wait and watch that the Hero MotoCorp Limited (HMCL) will fire this cracker in the festive season or later.
The quarter-litre motorcycle is designed and developed by the HMCL, EBR (Eric Buell Racing), AVL and Engines Engineering. The full-faired bike houses the most powerful 250cc, single-cylinder engine, which is capable to make 31PS of raw power along with a peak torque of 26Nm. The bike has been styled like a proper supersport machine with split headlamps, large wind shield, masculine fuel tank, split seats, clip-on handlebars, under-seat exhaust, wide tyres and dual disc brakes.
The Hero HX250R is expected to be priced below Rs. 2 lakh and it will compete with the other faired offerings like- Honda CBR250R, while the upcoming rivals of the bike will be Bajaj Pulsar SS200 and KTM RC 200.
