Hero’s first BS6 scooter is quicker and more fuel-efficient than before

Hero Pleasure Plus 110 BS6 Scooter Launched

  • BS6 Pleasure Plus FI costs Rs 6,300 more than the BS4 variants. 
  • Hero claims the BS6 fuel-injected motor accelerates 10 per cent quicker and offers 10 per cent better fuel efficiency. 
  • BS6 version gets chrome trim as part of cosmetic updates. 

 

The Hero Pleasure Plus FI BS6 has been launched in India. It is priced at Rs 54,800 (sheet wheel) and Rs 56,800 (alloy wheel). That is a premium of Rs 6,300 over the BS4 variants. This is the third BS6 scooter to be launched after the TVS Jupiter and the Honda Activa 6G.

The BS6 Pleasure Plus FI gets an updated fuel-injected 110cc motor that delivers 8.11PS at 7000rpm and 8.7Nm at 5500rpm. While power and torque outputs are similar to the BS4 Pleasure Plus 110, peak power comes 500rpm lower in the rev range. Hero claims the BS6 motor is 10 per cent more fuel efficient and accelerates 10 per cent quicker than the BS4 scooter. 

Cosmetic updates include the use of chrome instead of brushed silver on the headlamp, front apron, side panel trim, and 3D logo. Besides that, the BS6 Pleasure Plus FI gets no other cosmetic or mechanical updates.

After introducing the HF Deluxe BS-VI and Splendor iSmart - India’s first BS-VI motorcycle - Hero MotoCorp has now rolled-out its popular Pleasure+ scooter with a BS-VI compliant engine. The successive launches across segments underscore Hero MotoCorp’s complete state of preparedness to usher in the new emission regime and further consolidate its market leadership. 

Hero MotoCorp’s popular scooter brand – Pleasure+ 110, which already enjoys a strong customer preference, will be available in the BS-VI variant at a price of Rs. 54,800* for self-start sheet wheel and Rs. 56,800* for self- start alloy wheel. *ex-showroom Delhi

The updated Pleasure+ 110 BS-VI has been designed and developed completely in-house at the Company’s R&D hub - the Center of Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

The new Pleasure+ 110 BS-VI is powered by Programmed FI with Advance XSens Technology, thus enhancing the zippier ride with 10% improvement in acceleration* and over 10% improvement in Fuel Efficiency (FE), In addition, providing a smoother ride and easy starting anytime and anywhere (ease of cold starting)

BS-VI Compliant FI Engine

The updated Pleasure+ 110 BS-VI comes with a 110cc BS-VI Compliant Programmed Fuel Injection engine with ‘XSens Technology’ (Eight Sensors) - delivering a remarkable power output of 8 BHP @ 7000 RPM and torque-on-demand of 8.7 NM @ 5500 RPM. The Pleasure+ 110 BS-VI gives a 10% higher fuel efficiency, with better performance and up to 10% faster acceleration.
