Hero Splendor Xtec 2.0 Same Price Other Options

Hero MotorCorp recently launched a new variant of the Splendor called the Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0. The new variant is priced at Rs 82,911 (ex-showroom Delhi) and it comes with a few upgrades in terms of design and features.

But if you are not interested in the Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0, then here are all the other alternative bikes and scooters that you can buy in the same price range.

Honda Activa 6G H-Smart (Price: Rs 82,234)

Honda Activa 6G

The first on our list is the Honda Activa 6G, specifically the H-Smart variant. The Activa is quite an iconic scooter and is India’s highest selling scooter as well. It comes with a simple design and is powered by a 109.51cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 7.8PS and 8.9Nm.

The Activa is suspended on a telescopic fork and a 3-step preload adjustable single shock absorber. It rolls on a 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheel with 90-section tubeless tyres. When talking about features, the H-Smart variant gets a smartkey with proximity unlock and keyless ignition. It also offers security features such as an engine immobiliser.

Although the scooter has a lot to offer thanks to the smartkey and related features, it still comes with a simple analogue instrument console and misses out on smartphone connectivity, which is a big let down.

Ola S1 X 3kWh (Price: Rs 84,999)

Ola S1 X 3kWh

If you are someone who is looking for something similar to the Activa, but in an electric package, then the Ola S1 X 3kWh will be a good choice.

The e-scooter is powered by a 2.7kW motor that generates a peak power output of 6kW. It has a claimed top speed of 90kmph, with a claimed acceleration from 0-40 in 3.3 seconds. The 3kWh battery pack is able offer a claimed certified range 143km.

In terms of features, the Ola S1 X 3kWh comes with a simple LCD instrument console that displays readout like speed, range and battery levels. The e-scooter also features a reverse mode and offers a massive 34-litre underseat storage.

TVS Radeon Digi-Disc (Price: Rs 80,944)

TVS Radeon

The TVS Radeon is a 110cc offering from TVS and it has a lot to offer. First, the bike is powered by a 110cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine which generates 8.19PS and 8.7Nm. The engine offers slightly better performance than the Splendor’s 100cc motor. The Radeon Digi-disc variant also gets a 240mm disc at the front.

Second, the Radeon Digi-Disc offers a lot more features. The bike comes with a colour LCD console which looks quite premium and alongside offers readouts like real time mileage readout and service alerts alert. But misses out on smartphone connectivity and related features such as call/SMS alerts.

Bajaj CT 125X (Price: Rs 77,216)

Bajaj CT 125X

If performance is what you are looking for and don’t care too much about features, then the Bajaj CT 125X Disc variant will be a good option. The bike is powered by a =124.4cc air-cooled, single cylinder engine which produces 10.9PS and 11Nm, which is 2.71PS and 2.95Nm more than the Splendor’s 8.19PS and 8.05Nm.

Another interesting thing is that the Bajaj CT 125X comes with a telescopic fork and spring-in-spring twin rear shock absorbers, which can accommodate higher loads with ease. For better braking performance, the CT 125X has a 240mm disc up front. But in terms of features, the bike is quite plain and only has an analogue instrument console.

TVS Ntorq 125 Disc (Price: Rs 84,636)
