High on Harley

Sunday, a day of week that brings smiles on the faces of everyone whether they are young ones going to schools or the senior officers working in the government offices. It is the day which everyone wants to enjoy according to his will making him fresh to restore the energy to work with full enthusiasm during another upcoming week. In short it can be said that Sunday is the day which everyone to spend according to his wish somebody with his family or while some other spending in enjoying their hobbies which they cannot enjoy because of their hectic schedule  during the whole week. For instance if anyone goes to national highways between Delhi to Jaipur or between Greater Noida to Chandigarh, he will find different groups of people riding superbikes and making daring stunts with their bikes.

Dressed up in knee length leather boots, denim jeans with leather jackets, Rayban Sunglasses with tight helmets like some dare devils going on some specific mission. One thing that is noticeable about these riders is that they are not professional stunt artists or bike trainers, they are amateur bike riders who just to enjoy the ride of their cruiser bikes ride bike on the spacious roads like a king. On the other day i.e, on Monday same people could be seen in the hospitals attaining their patients, working on some IT project or making any policy for government. The truth is that these riders are the customers of Harley Davidson Superbikes in India who on the weekends enjoy the ride of their bikes in their own way.  

Harley Davidson  hitted the Indian roads during last June. Though the number of bikes sold during last year is too small only 250 Harley Davidson were sold during 2010, but during this year there are rumours that  within the short span of four months in 2011 company has been able to reach the number of sales made last year. This has also increased the sales of denim jeans and leather jackets throughout the world, however in India this sale is low as compared to western countries. HD fleet includes Harley Davidson Sportster, Harley Davidson Dyna, Harley Davidson VRSC, Harley Davidson Softail, Harley Davidson Touring, Harley Davidson superlow, Harley Davidson Iron 883, etc.

The Indian Film Stars who are considered as the trend setters in India also could not keep them away from the aura of Harley Davidson bike, stars like Sanjay Dutt, Shahid Kapur, Arshad Warsi all of them owe the super bike known as Harley Davidson. But it does not mean that only these are the specific bike lovers of this bike there are various others like professional from IT sector, government employees, doctors, engineers, management professional and others who can be called as HOG i.e., Harley Owners Group. Various contender companies when contacted to these HOG members to know about the option of buying a car or Harley Davidson bike all of them opted for the superbike because of lifestyle, though all of them owe cars also.
