Ola Launches S1 Pro Gen 2, S1 X+, and S1 X Models at Customer Day

Four new motorcycles from the EV maker, set for a 2024 launch, were also revealed

On August 15, 2023, Ola Electric hosted its annual customer day event at the Ola Future in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. During this event, they unveiled a lineup of new scooters, shared insights about the upcoming MoveOS 4 feature, and provided details about their upcoming electric motorcycles.
One of the highlights was the launch of the S1 Pro Gen 2, priced at Rs 1,47,499 (ex-showroom, including FAME 2 subsidy). This model is built on Ola Electric's new Gen-2 platform and features notable changes such as a flat floorboard and a telescopic fork at the front. The S1 Pro Gen 2 is equipped with an 11kW motor, boasting an ARAI claimed range of 195km, a top speed of 120kmph, and an acceleration time of 2.6 seconds from 0 to 40kmph.

Ola Electric also launched the new S1X range of scooters, including the S1X+, S1X (2kWh), and S1X (3kWh). All three variants are powered by a 6kW motor. The S1X+ and S1X (3kWh) feature a 3kWh capacity battery, offering an ARAI-claimed range of 151km and a top speed of 90kmph. Meanwhile, the S1X (2kWh) is equipped with a 2kWh battery, providing an ARAI-claimed range of 91km and a top speed of 85kmph.

Ola Electric also introduced the upcoming MoveOS 4, which will receive a beta version via over-the-air (OTA) update starting September 15, followed by the full-scale version in October. MoveOS 4 incorporates a range of features, including Ola Maps, Hill Descent, Find my scooter, Location push, HC Routing, Megaphone, Concert Mode, Customizable motor sounds, Theft/Tow/Fall detection, Geo and time fencing, Take-me-home lights, Auto turn-off indicators, Ride and Energy Stats, Call Filter, Biometric unlock, Widgets, Dark Mode, and Scooter locator.
The event also marked the unveiling of four upcoming electric motorcycles by Ola Electric: Diamondhead, Adventure, Roadster, and Cruiser. These motorcycles are set to be introduced by the end of 2024. The Diamondhead, a high-performance e-motorcycle, boasts a sharp and minimalistic design with distinct LED headlight and taillight strips. Expected to retail at around Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom), the Diamondhead will serve as Ola Electric's flagship product.
The Adventure, positioned as an electric ADV, features a tall seat height, an integrated high-rise fender and tank design, substantial windscreen, upside-down (USD) fork, and spoked wheels. The Roadster, true to its name, has the styling of a naked bike, characterized by a slim headlight unit, upright riding stance, mid-set footpegs, USD fork, and a monoshock. As for the Cruiser, it has a more relaxed riding posture with forward-set footpegs.
The Diamondhead, Adventure, Cruiser, and Roadster are projected to be priced at approximately Rs 3 lakh, Rs 2.7 lakh, and Rs 2.5 lakh (all ex-showroom) upon launch.
Furthermore, Ola Electric unveiled plans to establish 100 new service centers across India, adding to its network of service centers to over 500.
