Hop Electric Mobility has announced that the Hop Oxo electric motorcycle will launch on September 5. This development comes after the company unveiled the product in March 2022. Pre-bookings are already underway on the company’s official website for Rs 999.
The company has already showcased its first electric motorcycle and the Oxo bears an uncanny resemblance to the Yamaha FZ-Fi. In fact, the headlight seems to be straight off the Yamaha FZ-Fi Version 2.0. Other bits on the bike include LED strips integrated into the “tank” and a bulky-looking battery pack. This battery pack is paired with a hub motor.

While the technical specifications have not been revealed yet, the Hop Oxo’s suspension setup comprises a telescopic fork and dual shocks, while braking duties have been entrusted to disc brakes at both ends.
The Hop Oxo is likely to be priced around Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). It will go up against the likes of the Revolt RV 400, Tork Kratos and even the Oben Rorr.
