Hyosung GT 650R and ST7 launch on April 22

Garware Motors, India based firm, has been working with Korean two-wheeler giant Hyosung and finally it is ready to launch its already announced cheaper superbikes in Indian market. The company is to launch one superbike Hyosung GT 650R and a cruiser Hyosung ST7 on April 22, in Mumbai. For a long time both the bikes were most-awaited and now they are ready for India debut. At the launch event, keys will be handed over to the first owner of the superbike- Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal. The first launch of the bikes will happen in the national capital on 20th April while Pune launch will be on 21st April.
The Hyosung GT650R is a supersports bike which will be major competitor of upcoming Kawasaki Ninja 650R and Suzuki GSXR 750R; the latter bikes are expected by the end of this year. Both the bikes will be available with almost same price range as Harley Davidson SuperLow and Harley Davidson Iron 883 which are another CKD cruiser in Indian market.
Both the bikes have been assembled at Garware Hyosung’s Wai plant in Maharastra from CKD kits and it is the main reason of its cheaper price than other same power and feature loaded CBU bikes. Hyosung GT 650R will be available in two variants like one colour and other in multi colour. It's one body colour variant will be available with price tag of Rs. 4.6 lakh while multi colour variant will be priced at Rs. 5.4 lakh at ex-showroom New Delhi.
Meanwhile cruiser Hyosung ST7 is available with price tag of Rs. INR 5.9 lakh. Already the booking for the bikes has been started at INR 50,000. The bikes will also be available through a financing scheme at all Garware-Hyosung dealerships with a initial down payment of INR 1 Lakh.
Hyosung GT 650R is integrated with a V-twin 2 cylinders,4-stroke, DOHC type of 650 cc powerplant. This powerful engine of the bike is equipped with enhanced technologies that ensure to generate torque of 54.2kw at 9000rpm. Super cruiser Hyosung ST7 carries a 4 strokes, liquid cooled, 90 V Twin, 4 valves per cylinder and DOHC valve configuration, 678.2 cc engine that develops a top power of 60 bhp and 63 Nm of top torque at 7500 rpm.
