Hyosung GT 650R and ST7 launched in India

Hyosung GT 650R and Hyosung ST7 super bikes have been launched today in New Delhi. Garware motors has set attractive prices for both the bikes. The supersports Hyosung GT 650R single tone is available with price tag of Rs. 4.75 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi) while dual tone colour has priced at Rs. 4.90 lakh at (ex-showroom New Delhi). On the the other hand, cruiser Hyosung ST7 is priced at Rs. 5,69,000 (ex-showroom-Delhi); Finance is also available for both the bikes by India's leading financier HDFC Bank. Both the bikes will be available in five cities including Pune, Mumbai, NCR, Bangalore and Goa. The company will launch the bikes in phased manner across India; the first launch has been done in Delhi, while the second launch will take plane in Pune on 21st April and third launch to be held in Mumbai on 22nd April where Bollywood star Arjun Rampal will be offered the keys of the bike.
It's second time when the Korean giant has entered in Indian two-wheeler market and now the superbike provider includes these outstanding bikes in its Indian stable. Earlier Hyosung Motors had entered in Indian market in 2003 and sold three two-wheeler Comet 250cc, Auila and GF 125 in partnership with Kinetic Motors. But now the company comes in Indian market in partnership with Garware Motors and introduced these two new super beasts.
The Hyosung GT650R is a powerful sports bike that is powered by a 650 cc, 90°, V-twin, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that produces 72.68 bhp of top power at 9000 rpm and maximum torque of 60.9 Nm at 7500 rpm while top speed of the bike is 220 km/hr. It is integrated with a smooth and rider friendly 6 speed transmission. It will be available in six body shades under two category: single tone and premium dual tone. The single tone shades are ruby red, satin black and white glory while the premium dual tone scheme comprises of cherry and black, royal sunrise and pure pelican. The bike uses a double hydraulic disc brake at front and a single hydraulic brake at rear wheel, its maximum weight is 215kg. It carries broad and wider tyres at front and rear that are: 120/60 ZR-17 55W and 160/60 ZR-17 69W respectively. The super performer bike is major competitor of Suzuki GSXR 750R and upcoming Kawasaki Ninja 650R.
The Hyosung ST7 is a cruiser bike which is also known as touring motorcycle. It is another impressive bike in the Indian market which has to compete with Harley Davidson SuperLow and Harley Davidson Iron 883. The beast is integrated with a 4 stroke, DOHC 8 valve 90 degree, water cooled, fuel injection, V-Twin, 678.2 cc, engine that belts out maximum power of 56.66 bhp at 8000 rpm and peak torque of 57 Nm at 6000 rpm. It uses five speed gearbox. Wheelbase of the is very impressive while seat is long and low-set which ensures comfort riding.
