Hyosung Motors is soon going to launch a stylish brand new bike in India. This will be called Hyosung GT650R. Though the Indian motorways have always been seen giving value to the low-weight bikes which are even below 350cc in terms of engine capacity but now things have been changing for some time. Now more and more manufacturers are mulling over the high power bikes in India. Earlier Kawasaki and Honda worked on these lines and now it is Hyosung with Hyosung GT650R.
Hyosung GT650R has got the amazing feature of a 90-degree V-Twin motor which can produce power upto 80PS with a RPM stretch upto 10,000. Now this output is something really huge for any middle-weight bike. The excellent pickup with a torque that accounts 67nm without rotating throttle to full at 7,250rpm is another unique feature of the bike.
The new GT650R by Hyosung has got a trellis-type twin spar frame. This is quite stable. The traction control on motorways is due to the Bridgestone Battlax tyres. The tyres provide a wonderful service because they just give a perfect grip on both hot dry surface and wet turf as well. The new GT650R can easily achieve a speed over 220kmph with a deadline velocity of 81kmph and 135kmph through a six speed transmission box. The bike has also been equipped with fuel injection to carburet motor functioning.
The coming of Hyosung GT650R in the Indian market is quite obvious as it has already been a bestseller in the European and Australian motorcycle markets. With the foundation of IKM and middle weight bikes like Ninja 650r by Kawasaki Motors, the year 2010 witnessed the commencement of middle-weight bikes in India.
The new Hyosung GT650R comes with a safe and easy handling. The combined credit for this smooth handling goes to the chassis, tyres and suspension. There is a completely adjustable suspension at the front in the frame. A preloaded adjustable monoshock has also been provided at the rear. Due to a serious thought that has been given to the aerodynamics of the bike, the rider may feel calm at even the very high speeds. In addition to all these features, the bike has got an analogue white backlit digital speedometer.
